Continuing our Distinguished Visiting Speaker Series, PSHFES is pleased to welcome Dr. David Rempel to speak on two different topics: Developing New Ergonomic Solutions in Construction, and an Update on Upper Extremity Risk Factors. Dr. Rempel, MD, MPH is Professor of Bioengineering at UC Berkeley, Professor of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at UC San Francisco and Director of the Ergonomics Graduate Training Program at UC Berkeley. The research of his group focuses on understanding how tendons, muscles, and nerves are injured at work and how workplace tools and tasks can be designed in order to prevent musculoskeletal disorders.

This is a MEMBERS-ONLY event for PSHFES members, free of charge although we need you to sign up for it since space is limited. Please go to the PSHFES website [www.pshfes.org] and click on "Events", then sign up for the August 18th David Rempel Dinner Meeting. You are encouraged to come early to socialize and have dinner, although you are also welcome to come just for the presentation. Dinner and drinks are your responsibility and you will be billed individually.
